PUBLIC WORK is an urban design & landscape architecture studio, founded in Toronto and focused on Toronto. Our work stands out for its inventive thinking under the most complex urban conditions and for our dedication to the creative evolution of the public realm in Toronto. We work on meaningful projects at a range of scales from strategic visions to high quality park and public space designs.

Currently, we are seeking a talented junior landscape designer (0-3 years experience) with a background in progressive landscape architecture to join the studio at PUBLIC WORK.

Qualities we are looking for in an applicant include:

Passionate and dedicated professional, creative problem solver and clear thinker, proactive team player with the ability to take initiative in response to direction or instruction, adaptable to various roles within a dynamic work environment.
Strong conceptual and design skills with experience in technical detailing and knowledge of construction methods.
Excellent command of CAD/3D modelling (Rhino preferred), strong graphic and communication skills.
Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
Legal permits and visa to work in Canada
