If so, your search ends here! MHBC is currently searching for a Landscape Architect to join our team in the Kitchener office!

MHBC is an industry leading land use planning, landscape architecture, cultural heritage, and urban design expertise firm established in 1973 that has grown to 130 employees in 5 offices throughout Ontario.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university required with a minimum of 5+ years experience in a similar role;
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, and Adobe programsSuite, and MS Office;
  • Experience Familiarity with with mMunicipal applications and approval processess;
  • Experience writing specifications;
  • Knowledge of technical design including construction details, grading, and planting;
  • Experience with construction contract documentsadministration, including on-site inspections, responding to RFIs (Request for Information), preparing PCN (Proposed change notices,)change orders, and issuing Progressrocess Payments;
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence;
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills;
  • Arborist certification is an asset;
  • Graphic and illustrative skills is an asset;
  • Experience with Rhino3D, SketchUP and Enscape is an asset.

  • Be organized and responsible;
