The Hamilton Conservation Authority currently has a Full-Time Permanent opportunity for a Projects Designer.
This position has a variety of design, drafting, surveying, tendering and field inspection duties, over a wide range of conservation area facilities & infrastructure, owned and managed by the Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA). Typical projects encompass a wide range of services including fences, roads, trails, parking lots, pedestrian bridges, utility services, buildings, etc.
This position reports to the Director of Capital Projects & Strategic Services (CaPSS) and works closely with other design team staff and the Construction Projects Manager, within the division. The Projects Designer plays an important role within the division and is part of the internal Project Management Review Team.
