MHBC has openings for creative and enthusiastic individuals to join our expanding Landscape Architectural Design team in our Kitchener office as a Senior Landscape Architect. The successful candidates will have a Degree in Landscape Architecture and demonstrated progressive experience in a professional environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university required with a minimum of 5+ years experience in a similar role;
• Full Member of OALA or eligibility for Full Membership
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and MS Office;
• Familiarity with municipal applications and approval processes;
• Knowledge of technical design including construction details, grading, and planting;
• Experience with construction administration, including on-site inspections, responding to RFIs (Request for Information), preparing change orders, and issuing Progress Payments
• Must have a valid driver’s licence;
• Excellent verbal and communication skills;
• Arborist certification is an asset;
• Graphic and illustrative skills is an asset;
• Experience with Rhino3D, SketchUP and Enscape is an asset.
