Prof. Nina-Marie Lister from Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Urban and Regional Planning, and Prof. (Dean) Julia Czerniak, from the University of Buffalo’s School of Architecture and Planning will be hosting our workshop, Telling Species Stories: Visualizing Futures for North American Habitat Dioramas, on October 9th, from 1:00pm to 5:30pm. The legacy of habitat dioramas is undeniable. During our workshop, attendees will dive into collaborative exercises that will reshape the way we view and interpret these iconic displays. Together, we'll craft compelling stories rooted in conservation science and fueled by boundless imagination! This event is OPEN TO ALL, and would especially benefit students across design, conservation, and environmental disciplines.
This workshop is part of the 15th annual Student Conference on Conservation Science in New York City, October 9-11, 2024!
