2026 OALA MPP-Queen’s Park Spring Breakfast Highlights
On May 6, 2026, OALA members and select Councillors gathered at Queen’s Park for the 2026 MPP–Landscape Architect Spring Breakfast.
The event was a great success, bringing together more than 25 members alongside 15 MPPs and Ministers. Speakers included Minister Doug Downey and MPPs Kristyn Wong-Tam (NDP), Mike Schreiner (Green Party), and Lucille Collard (Liberal), all of whom highlighted the important role landscape architects play in shaping healthy, resilient, and vibrant communities.
The breakfast provides a valuable opportunity for landscape architects to build relationships with MPPs and demonstrate how the profession contributes meaningful solutions to pressing issues such as climate change, mental health, street safety, housing, and accessibility.
