Intermediate Landscape Architect

We are currently looking for a proactive Intermediate Landscape Architect with proven experience in complex projects to fill a full-time, in-office position in our studio. This role will primarily support the design and delivery of DTAH’s Toronto waterfront projects initially. Over time, other project types will include streetscapes, transit infrastructure, parks, and public realm landscapes.

· Minimum 7-8 years of experience with professional membership or in the process of obtaining full membership with the OALA;

· Experience with streetscapes, transit and / or public realm integration with municipal infrastructure

· Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in managing medium to large projects within multidisciplinary project teams;

· Strong design instincts with ability to assess issues and propose design solutions that are thoughtful and considered

· Solid technical knowledge and detailing abilities with sound construction knowledge;

· Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to interface and collaborate with clients, consultants and stakeholders;

· Strong time-management skills with experience in complex, multi-disciplinary projects;

· Ability to balance multiple projects with consecutive/overlapping schedules and delivery dates;

· Working knowledge of applicable standards, including OBC, AODA, Toronto Green Standards and LEED;

· Demonstrated experience in preparing and coordinating construction documents including drawings and specifications for municipal infrastructure projects;

· Advanced AutoCAD and BIM/Revit skills; experience in SketchUp and MicroStation an asset;

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.

Salary Range – $75,000 – $95,000
