These webinars give high school students an opportunity to engage with industry experts and like-minded peers while gaining a deeper understanding of city-building.

About Our Guest Speaker: Kristy Kilbourne

This webinar event will feature Kristy Kilbourne, an Urban Planner and Planning career coach. Currently pursuing doctoral studies in the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo, Kristy's professional planning experience includes working in a variety of roles in the local government and non-profit sectors, and more recently as a planning consultant and sessional lecturer. As passionate about "the Planner" as the practice of urban planning, Kristy is also the founder of Your Planning Career, an organization that supports career development for planners. In this capacity, she has had the privilege of working with and supporting hundreds of planners and aspiring planners at all stages of their careers from across Canada, the U.S., and other parts of the world.
