2024 OALA Conference - Ripple Effect

On October 17-18, 2024, join the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) for our 2024 annual conference in Niagara Falls. This year’s theme, Ripple Effect, will explore how all actions, no matter how small, can have great and lasting impacts on the well-being of our communities.

Landscape architects shape the world around us by creating cities, streets, parks, and public open spaces that inspire healthy, sustainable living while protecting the public and natural environments. Quite often these spaces generate social, environmental, and economic ripples that extend to shores near and far.

We are excited to announce this year's OALA Awards Reception will be held at the award-winning Niagara Power Station on Thursday evening.

Members are invited to tour the Power Station including the Tunnel, enjoy cocktails, celebrate Award Winners, and view the Niagara Falls light show.

Refunds and Cancellations

Cancellations and refunds will be granted as follows:

• Up to two (2) weeks in advance: 50% refund will be granted
• No refunds will be made for cancellations fourteen (14) days prior to event
• No refunds will be made for “No Shows” (a person who registers for a program but who does not cancel registration or attend the program).

Refunds will be processed as they are received or after the conclusion of the conference, depending on when the cancellation occurs. Refunds may take five (5) to seven (7) business days to process.
