Join the Ontario Urban Forest Council for a FREE hands-on workshop hosted by the Ontario Urban Forest Council in partnership with the Clean Air Partnership. This event focuses on the challenges facing Ontario’s urban forests. We invite municipal representatives, climate experts, non-profits, academics, and practitioners to collaborate on a climate risk assessment on Ontario's urban forests.
Participants will explore climate data and engage in a vulnerability and risk assessment to identify and prioritize threats to urban forests, while brainstorming practical solutions to enhance resilience.
The outputs of this workshop will help shape Ontario's priorities for actions to make our urban forests more resilient to a changing climate.
Lunch will be provided.
Registration is first come, first served, and to maximize diverse representation, we ask that no more than two people from each organization attend. Preference will be given to those with urban forestry and climate change expertise.
