University of Guelph - Landscape Architecture Guest Lecture Series presents:
Raymon Yim, Founder and Principal of Urbantypology Inc., Toronto, ON.
Lecture title: Tales from a Startup Design Studio
Raymon is a founder and principal of Urbantypology Inc. He is a graduate of the BLA class of 2001 and is an urban designer and placemaker whose work spans campuses + innovation districts, emerging resort towns, downtown cultural hubs, and large-scale mixed-use communities. He serves as a leading visionary and designer on numerous complex projects, guided by the belief that great places emerge from a careful balance of site constraints, cultural and social needs, economic realities, and shared aspirations. Raymon crafts design visions that are dynamic and inspiring while remaining eloquent, functional and grounded in the communities they serve.
This lecture is supported by the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects.
