Call for Article Submissions

OALA's Ground Magazine looking for content for Ground 75 — and we need you!

Our theme this time is DIY. We’re looking for landscape stories that reflect a “do-it-yourself” spirit. This could include things like creative problem-solving, innovative use or reuse of materials, or taking the lead on a project or initiative in your community.

Ground exists to share your ideas, and start conversations about landscape architecture with fellow OALA members and related professions.

We’re looking for:

- Feature stories (1,200–1,500 words, or visually focused with photographs or illustrations)
- Up Front pieces (400–800 words, anything landscape-adjacent)
- Artifact ideas (200 words, centered on an image or two)
- Other feature ideas, even if they don’t fit the theme!
