JUNIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT (2 TO 3 YEARS PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE) FULL TIME POSITION, MONTREAL

CCxA
is particularly interested in a landscape architect with a strong interest in design, the production of images and 3D renderings, and experience in the development and coordination of technical documents such as construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. In addition to strong organizational skills and interdisciplinary coordination abilities, the candidate must be able to work effectively within a close-knit team and demonstrate autonomy, initiative, rigor, and flexibility.

Description of tasks:
•Develop and prepare colour plans and presentation drawings;
•Produce 3D models and renderings;
•Conduct inventories of existing conditions and document site analyses;
•Develop designs and drawings from preliminary concepts and sketches;
•Inform decisions regarding vegetation and materials;
•Assist with delivering complete drawing sets and specifications for execution;
•Assist in the preparation of reports;
•Perform quantity calculations and cost estimates.

Qualifications & Prerequisites:

•2 to 3 years professional experience in a recognized office in Landscape Architecture;
•A Master and/or a Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and/or urban design;
•The following software proficiencies are required:
AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, Adobe CS, SketchUp and other 3D modeling software;
•Excellent communication in oral and written English and French;
•Technique and/or bachelor in architecture (an asset);
•A good knowledge of plants material (an asset).
