There is an opening for the above position within the Recreation and Culture Division of the Community Services Department available immediately. Reporting to the Manager of Recreation, Placemaking Capital Projects, the following duties will apply:
Undergraduate Level - Four years or equivalent in Landscape Architecture or Similar.
• Five (5) years of previous related experience, preferably in a municipal environment.
• Highly proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD.
• Full membership with seal in the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) is preferred.
This position is within Grade 12 of the Inside Workers union salary schedule, the hourly salary range is $54 - $57.40. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and are an Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) employer.
The current regular hours of work are in accordance with the collective agreement, and currently are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm. (35 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
