Lashley + Associates is seeking an experienced and design-driven Senior Landscape Architect to join our Ottawa studio and play a key role in shaping the next phase of our growth.

Our Ottawa office collaborates closely with our Montréal team on interprovincial projects and serves a diverse client base across the National Capital Region and Eastern Ontario.


The Role

As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will take ownership of projects from concept through construction, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver impactful and high-quality design solutions.

You will also contribute to the studio’s creative direction, operational excellence, and business development initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of design concepts, detailed drawings, and presentation materials
  • Manage projects through all phases, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Oversee contract administration and provide site review during construction
  • Integrate technical requirements, sustainability objectives, and municipal standards into design solutions
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture
  • Support proposal writing, strategic pursuits, and business development efforts
  • Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement within the practice

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience
  • Registered member of the OALA and/or AAPQ, or eligible for registration
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and leading teams
  • Strong technical knowledge, including construction documentation and contract administration
  • Proficiency with CAD platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Bilingualism (English required; French is an asset)
  • Valid driver’s license
