Landscape Planning Limited is currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Landscape Architect / Designer to join our dedicated team of professionals.

Candidate Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience working in an office environment and will ideally have strong communication and time management skills and the confidence and motivation to take on new challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of design applications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Education, Degree in Landscape Architecture or Diploma in an applicable field
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite
  • Preference will be given to those who are eligible for or are a full member of the OALA
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Construction Administration
  • Strong time management skills with experience leading or collaborating in multi-disciplinary projects
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and delivery dates
  • Possess and maintain a valid Class "G" Driver's License, access to a personal vehicle
  • Experience in park development or air supported dome structures would be considered an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of the design and detailed design process
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams including clients while working closely with the firm’s partners and work of junior and intermediate team members
  • Mentor and guide junior staff
  • Quality control and assurance of deliverables
  • Preparation of Detailed Design, Working Drawing Development and Tender Documents
  • Contract Administration
