2025 OALA Winter Family Day 

The OALA is excited to invite you to our annual fundraiser to support the next generation of landscape architecture students! This event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the winter weather with your friends, family, and colleagues, while helping raise funds for landscape architecture students at the University of Guelph and University of Toronto.

Location: Alpine Ski Club, Blue Mountains

For the best chance of securing your rentals, we recommend prebooking by February 11th.

📅 Schedule:

  • 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Registration & Breakfast
  • 9:00 AM: Lifts Open
  • 10:30 AM: Beginner Group Lesson (1hr)
  • 11:30 AM: Snowshoe Tour (1hr)
  • 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch
  • 1:00 PM: Intermediate Group Lesson (1hr)
  • 1:30 PM: Fun Race (2hr)
  • 3:30 PM: Lift Closes
  • 3:30 PM – 4:45 PM: Raffle and Prizes & Closing Remarks

Cancellation, Refund, and Important Information Policy

Cancellations and refunds will be granted according to the following guidelines:

  • Up to two (2) weeks before the event: 50% refund will be issued.
  • After registration deadline: No refunds will be provided.
  • No Shows (those who register but do not attend or cancel): No refunds will be issued.

Refunds will be processed in the order they are received, or after the event has concluded, depending on the timing of the cancellation. Please allow five (5) to seven (7) business days for refunds to be processed.

  • Allergies and accommodations: If you have any allergies, dietary restrictions or have specific accessibility needs, please inform us during registration.
  • Photo Consent: By attending, you grant us permission to take photographs or videos during the event. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us during registration
