National Reciprocity Agreement

National Reciprocity Agreement for the Profession of Landscape Architecture in Canada

On July 9th, 2020, nine provincial, regional, and territorial landscape architecture associations signed an agreement to establish the conditions under which a landscape architect, who is a full member in one Canadian jurisdiction (either regulated or non-regulated) is able to have his/her professional membership recognized in another Canadian jurisdiction (either regulated or non-regulated).

In addition, the Canadian jurisdictions worked with the CSLA to prepare a Guide to Reciprocity to help landscape architects who plan to work in another jurisdiction understand the process and their responsibilities.
