Jack Copeland Award for OALA Intern Leadership and Contribution

The Award

This award recognizes the outstanding leadership, and contribution of an Intern member for going above and beyond to assist fellow interns.

Nominee

Must be, or have held, an Intern membership in the OALA within the current calendar year.

Nominator and Endorser

Must currently be an Intern Member of the OALA.

A minimum of 1 letter of endorsement is required by an Intern Member of the OALA, or a Committee of the OALA.

Submission Requirements and Evaluation Criteria

The submission should highlight the Intern’s contribution. Activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Tutorials,
  • LARE exam help,
  • special tasks,
  • OALA Library,
  • social and special events, and participating in and assisting in social events,
  • meeting interns,
  • and other activities.
